Particularly the tendency of older generations to dismiss the opinions and values of younger generations as unimportant and trivial, due to their apparent immaturity. This may be (intentionally or not) a reflection of generation clashes (particularly between the Baby Boomer and X Generations, and the Millennial and Z Generations) currently occurring in society. Even some of Peter's teachers seem disinterested in the well being of the students, such as when the shop teacher responded to a loud noise with a (in-universe) scripted line, without even looking up. The names of the "Training Wheels Protocol" and "Baby Monitor Protocol" are also reflections of this. Tony, though believing that Peter has potential, dismisses everything that Peter says, at one point even using the phrase "below pay grade" when Peter asks for help, and fails to communicate even when he does listen.
Peter is repeatedly dismissed as a nuisance by Happy Hogan. Spider-Man: Homecoming will release on July 7th, 2017.An underlying theme throughout the film is the lack of respect or interest from the adult presence in Peter's life.

The only reason its this low is because I feel like Hollands performance in this movie is overshadowed by the fact that Into the Spiderverse was released around the same time, and we were all just a little Spidermand out. No Spider-Man movie has really fully embraced the classic theme song that's been around for decades but it looks as if that will change with Spider-Man: Homecoming later this summer. Spiderman: Homecoming Tom Holland is an awesome Spiderman. It appeared in several different forms throughout the trilogy and it even popped up for a split second in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014. The main theme before every film spawned a feeling of adventure, intrigue, and heroism but it didn't have the same feeling of the actual theme song for Spider-Man. In 2002, Spider-Man got his first ever movie and along with it came an iconic score from Danny Elfman.
